Beauty is everywhere

I used to think beauty could only be found at the tops of mountains, overlooking canyons, or along seaside waves. What a dreadful limitation.

For have you ever looked at a field of grass, swaying in the wind? Or the gray, cloudy haze cloaking a cobblestone street? Cows grazing in a pasture, and the reflective puddles after a good day's rain. The sound of children laughing, or the loving gaze of a mother. What about the strength of an ant or the persistence of a gnat? Can even a fly be beautiful? Have you admired one up close?

The birth of a puppy, the death of an old friend–

Isn’t only one beautiful and the other quite tragic,

Or can both be true at the same time?

With the world in panorama, how could one frame be better than the next?

Is one point of a circle superior to another?

So rather than make the world fit our standards, can we drop all our notions? When we limit life, we only limit ourselves.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The outside merely projects what’s within.

Appreciating everything is living in perpetual beauty.
